The rooms at Hacienda Santa Ines were just amazing, great experience for sure. The food was great, the service incredible and the activities unbelievable. From horseback-riding, to 4 wheelers to swimming in the pool. There is also a Spa where you can have a massage in the middle of the day between activities. I fully recommend this experience.

Incredible views just outside the city of San Jose at 1800 meters above sea level, the weather is just perfect cool (between 60 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit). As a family of 5, we had the most relaxing and exciting vacation between the lavish lifestyle and the adventurous outdoors. We had the most amazing experience when we went Rafting at the Rios Tropicales, its just a National Geographic scenery all along the way. Located in the highlands of Costa Rica, at only 20 minutes from the city capital of San Jose, the stunning Santa Inés is an oasis of privacy and tranquility that is so sheltered that most are unaware of its existence.

At Santa Inés, we have a minimum rental of 5 nights. However, we may be able to cater to shorter stays based on availability.

Santa Inés has no official "check-in" or "check-out" times. Please tell us your arrival and departure dates and time, we will gladly accommodate to your travel schedule.

Transportation between the airport and Santa Inés will be coordinated by Santa Inés at no extra cost to you.

To pay for your stay at Santa Inés, please note the only currency we accept is the Dollar of the United States of America ("U.S. Dollar"). Local tours, helicopter rides and others also accept the U.S. Dollar as payment. The local currency is the Colon, which can be used for shopping, off-site movie theaters and more.

During your stay at Santa Inés, the property is exclusively reserved for you and your guests.

Children of all ages are welcome at Santa Inés so long as they are under adult supervision.

While young adults are welcome at Santa Inés, young adults between the ages of 19 to 24 cannot exclusively use the property. However, they are more than welcome to accompany you and your guests.

The temperature at Santa Inés is lovely and typically varies from 59 degrees Fahrenheit at night to 75 degrees Fahrenheit during the day. The months of May through November usually have more rain than the months of December through April.

We recommend that you bring sweaters, jackets, rain gear, sneakers, all terrain shoes or low hiker boots, bathing suits, hat, sun glasses, sunscreen, your usual medicines, electronics, etc.

During your stay at Santa Inés, the property is your home away from home. Feel free to do what you want, when you want, taking into consideration the weather and time you wish to do such activities. However, please keep in mind that if you desire the employees' assistance, then we recommend that you coordinate with the Event Coordinator.

Throughout the House, we provide wireless high-speed, Wi-Fi, where you can connect your Laptop, phone, tablet, etc. We also have smart screen TVs, Blu-Ray /DVD players, and various music stereos ready for you to play music from your device.

At Santa Ines the electricity is equal to the USA. 110-120 volts. Guests in their country with a different voltage, please take note and bring the necessary adapters for your electronic equipment.

Meals will be served at the time you schedule with our Event Coordinator. For those traveling with children, at your request we can prepare a separate mealtime for the little ones. Otherwise, meals are often served to guests of all ages at the same time.

At Santa Inés, all available facilities, 4 wheelers "ATVs", and horses are provided to you free of charge.

During your stay, all food and beverages offered by our facility are included.

Please take note that at Santa Inés, we have a strict NO tipping policy. Our staff is highly trained and it is a pleasure for them to serve you. As such, we kindly request that you do not give or offer any form of tips to any of the employees.

Extra may cost include, but are not limited to: helicopter rides, activities outside Santa Inés, exotic meals and liquors, telephone calls, any damages to equipment, installations or third persons, medical expenses if any, other services rendered such as manicures and pedicures, hairdressing services, babysitting, etc., that are provided by employees that do not work for Santa Inés.

A mere 10 minutes from Santa Inés is the lovely Terramall Shopping Center, where you will find VIP cinemas, restaurants, and market shops. About 15 minutes from Santa Inés is the charming town of San Pedro, which has shops, restaurants, markets, bars, and more.

You are at liberty to do pretty much anything you want at Santa Ines without anyone deciding for you. The employees are there to assist you if you desire. Therefore, whatever decisions you or your guests make, you'll be the ones solely responsible for its consequences.

Our staff is trained in first aid. More importantly, Santa Inés has a membership with the most highly recognized emergency ambulance service in Costa Rica, known as "Costa Rica Medical Emergencies". Please note that the nearest hospital is a mere 15 minutes from Santa Inés.

While smoking is permitted in the common areas of Santa Inés, we kindly request that you please adhere to our strict non-smoking policy in all bedrooms.
